Our expert tutor, Fiona McBeath, will introduce you to the variety of Thai Street food traditionally prepared by street vendors right across Thailand.
Dishes may include:
- Pad Thai
- Penang gua (Thai spiced beef)
- Gaeng Gai (Red Thai Chicken Curry)
- Noodle Soup
- Gai yang (Chicken and sweet chilli)
- Chicken Satay Sticks
- Spring rolls
And just about any other common Thai dish on the street!
This food is fresh and fast. On our Thai Street Food workshop you will learn to make some of the typical dishes cooked and served on the streets of Thailand under the guidance of our experienced instructor.
This is a 'hands-on' workshop, working with other members of the class, all sitting down at the end of the class to enjoy the dishes prepared.
This class is suitable for people at all skill levels.
All ingredients are provided along with the recipe sheets for you to take away.
We'll provide an apron for you to work in but if you'd prefer to have your very own, high-quality, embroidered YORK Cookery School apron, they are available to buy. Simply add one to your order and we can post it to you of just give it to you when you come to the class.
