Italian Cucina Workshop

Learn how to prepare and cook a selection of regional Italian dishes, with our expert chef, Dan Graham.

The dishes that you will prepare will be typical of Lazio, the Marche, Sicily, Campania, Liguria, Veneto, Emilia Romano & Tuscany.

Immerse yourself in this wonderful cuisine, looking at and tasting typical ingredients used in Italian cuisine and our instructor will tell you about the background and history of this cuisine.

Working in pairs in our purpose-built, fully-equipped kitchen, you'll be preparing and cooking your dishes, sampling as you go.

Examples of dishes that you may prepare:

  • Mushroom ravioli with a parmesan, garlic and butter sauce.
  • Chicken Cacciatore
  • Rissotto con gli asparagi (risotto with asparagus)
  • Pork Scallopini alla Fiorentina (pork escalops with a spinach sauce)
  • Foccacia Farcita
  • Vanilla Panna cotta

All ingredients will be provided and you'll take away lots of new skills and printed recipe sheets. 

We'll provide an apron for you to work in but if you'd prefer to have your very own, high-quality, embroidered YORK Cookery School apron, they are available to buy. Simply add one to your order and we can post it to you of just give it to you when you come to the class.
