Come along and be inspired with our range of classes focused on vegan & vegetarian dishes. We'll be sharing lots of recipes, ideas and tips with you and you'll learn lots of new recipes to add to your repertoire.
This class is for anyone who wants variety in their cooking, using local and seasonal produce. You will cook five delicious dishes that you'll be able to recreate confidently at home and learn how to plan and cook the perfect vegan/vegetarian feast. With seasonal variations, they may include:
You'll be working in pairs, so why not bring a friend with you and have a fun day out!! Refreshments will be available throughout the class.
All ingredients will be provided and you'll take away lots of new skills and printed recipe sheets.
We'll provide an apron for you to work in but if you'd prefer to have your very own, high-quality, embroidered YORK Cookery School apron, they are available to buy. Simply add one to your order and we can post it to you of just give it to you when you come to the class.
We’ll also provide you with some useful contacts for sourcing equipment and supplies.
Join expert tutor, Fiona McBeath, as she guides you through the creation of a range of Spanish Tapas and Pintxos dishes. You'll be creating the dishes yourself to eat and take home with you.
Our resident cake designer and creator of all things sweet, Kate Clarkson, will demonstrate and teach the techniques required to make several different flavours of macaron.
