This introductory course to chocolate showpiece is the perfect wat to learn about various chocolate mediums, techniques and skills to develop a centrepiece to impress your friends and family. It will be based on and Easter theme.
Skills and techniques used:
- Cocoa butter colours (airbrushed and other applications), metallic dusts
- Casting moulds
- Organic and freeform shapes
- Piped decorations
- Bases including granite and textured slabs
- Chocolate flowers
- Spirals and twigs
The finished showpiece will be approximately 20 to 30 centimetres high, depending on how it is assembled.
