Come and join expert chef/tutor, Jaswant Mehra and learn the skills and techniques to create a number of fabulous Indian dishes.
Your chef for the day, Jaswant, will begin the class with a brief talk on the background to the dishes you will be cooking and also about the Indian sub-continent and its varied cuisines and culture.
Under Jaswant's guidance you'll learn the secrets behind Indian cuisine whilst preparing an authentic 3-course meal, including;
Working 'hands on' in our purpose built kitchen you'll be preparing and cooking your dishes, sampling as you go.
All ingredients are provided as well as recipe sheets to take away at the end of the session.
We'll provide an apron to work in but if you'd prefer to have your very own, high-quality, embroidered YORK Cookery School apron, they are available to buy. Simply add one to your order and we can post it to you of just give it to you when you come to the class.
Join our expert tutor, Fiona McBeath, as she introduces you to the variety of Thai Street food traditionally prepared by street vendors right across Thailand.
Come and join our expert chef/tutor, Kate Smyth, as she guides you on this culinary journey around the southern Mediterranean.
Join our expert chef, Dan Graham, as he shows you how to get the best from seasonal game meats. You'll be recreating the dishes to eat and take home.
