CORONAVIRUS (Covid-19) - YORK Cookery School updated statement 05.05.2020
Hello again to all our wonderful customers & friends.
We hope that you are well and keeping safe.
Following on from our previous announcements, we’d like to provide you with our updated position regarding the measures we’re taking in view of the latest Government advice and guidance in respect of the current Coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak.
We continue to review the situation on a daily basis and have recently put in place plans to further delay the re-opening of the Cookery School until July 4th, at the earliest. These plans reflect the Government’s current advice and we will continue to review the situation as further announcements are made. We keep up to date with the daily briefings from Downing Street and are fully expecting the lock-down to continue when the latest measures are announced later this week.
The safety and wellbeing of our staff and our customers is the most important thing to us and, as such, we will continue to to respond to the advice in what, we believe, will be the most sensible and prudent way.
We are already considering what new procedures will need to be put in place, within the school ,when we do re-open. This will include limiting the numbers of attendees on each class to between 4 and possibly 6, so that we can deliver a class whilst maintaining appropriate social distancing. This would likely mean running two classes instead of one on the same day. With this in mind, the times of our classes are likely to need to change to adapt and we hope you will be supportive of our efforts.
Please remember that we are a small business and we want to continue to support one another. Your continued support and custom are greatly appreciated.
In the meantime take care of yourselves and thank you for bearing with us.
Kate, Fraser & the team at YORK Cookery School.
