Our chefs and tutors
Having spent many years working within various sectors of the food and wine industry, joining YORK Cookery School was a natural progression for Fiona to create her own work with her own ideas.
She has a wealth of experience built up over many years including a senior role at Castle Howard, York in events organisation and wine management.
As well as YORK Cookery School, Fiona also has her own successful private catering business, Cooked by Fiona McBeath. Furthermore she has worked in the Product Technology Department of Nestle for 10 years.
Fiona has organised many charity events with the theme always having an emphasis on food and wine. With four children of her own, she also knows the art of organisation and has a hard work ethic.
Fiona uses her entertaining and events organisation experience combined with the best local ingredients to bring to her classes an exciting insight into international cuisines.
