Join our resident cake designer (YORKCakes) and creator of all things sweet, Kate Clarkson, as she guides you through the techniques needed to create a range of delicious, moist cakes and cupcakes.
You'll be baking a selection of cakes from:
- Zesty lemon cupcakes
- Rich chocolate fudge cake
- Moist, mini carrot cake
- Fruit/Savoury scones
The session is a great introduction to baking and will provide you with the opportunity to create a fantastic selection of cakes to share with your friends and family.
We'll provide an apron for you to work in but, if you'd prefer to have your very own, high-quality embroidered YORK Cookery School apron, they are available to buy. Simply add one to your order and we can post it out or just give it to you when you come to the class.
All ingredients and recipes are provided and it's a good idea to bring along a few good-sized containers to take away your creations at the end of the session.
